Wise Oak

Software has changed.

Development cycles that ran in quarters now run in days. Wise Oak works at this new pace, but on a foundation of decades of experience in software, avoiding common pitfalls in the new paradigm.

Bespoke. When building software was slow, subscribing to a large and generalized service was the sensible choice, and an entire industry accepted that math. The math has flipped. Custom-built solutions that target your precise needs now make more economic sense than signing up for proprietary platforms geared towards vendor lock-in.

Independence. Everything Wise Oak builds points away from dependence: software you own rather than rent, data that stays yours, privacy and security treated as requirements rather than features. It stands on open-source foundations and it is portable. Nothing we build locks you to a vendor, including us.

The founder. Wise Oak is young. Its founder is not. Chris Davaz has spent more than twenty-five years building software. His experience spans from very large organizations such as Intuit and IBM to small startups consisting of a handful of developers.
